About Stacie Smith

A fourth generation Oregonian, she was born in Salem Oregon in 1945 and grew up in Eugene, in the Willamette River Valley. Stacie has lived all but ten of her sixty-two years in the Pacific Northwest.

After completing three years of college as an English Literature major, she left the University of Oregon to begin her vocation as a visual artist. Stacie has been a painter, photographer, printmaker and sculptor for nearly forty years.

Since Stacie first began exhibiting in public venues, her work has been shown in over fifty galleries, museums, art centers and festivals.
